Do You(th) – Act.Grow. Lead.

On this page, you will find the living story of the DoUth project in action. Here we share updates from our activities, highlights from youth-led initiatives, and insights from across the region. You will also discover practical tools and learning materials developed within the project, along with curated links to related knowledge articles and inspiring practices. Whether you are a youth worker, changemaker, educator, or simply curious, this space invites you to explore, learn, and connect—turning shared experiences into collective impact.

The DoUth project is a two-year Erasmus+ initiative that brings together youth organizations from Kosovo, Albania, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, supported by European and global partners. It was created in response to the real challenges young people in the region face today: limited opportunities, gender inequality, youth unemployment, climate concerns, digital gaps, and the ongoing “brain drain” of talented young people leaving their countries. The project’s main purpose is to strengthen local civil society organizations and help them better support young people—especially young women and those from minority or rural backgrounds—to grow, connect, and lead positive change in their communities.

Inspired by MasterPeace’s belief in “connecting differences and creating opportunities,” DoUth focuses on turning challenges into possibilities. It brings people together across borders to learn from each other, share ideas, and co-create solutions. The project aims to build confidence and skills within youth organizations, improve the quality of non-formal education, and create strong networks that last beyond the project itself.

At the heart of DoYou(th) are practical and creative activities. Youth workers receive training in personal leadership, teamwork, digital skills, and 21st-century competences. They also learn to use innovative methods such as Artivism (art for social change), Doughnut Economics (balancing social and environmental wellbeing), and Social Entrepreneurship (turning ideas into sustainable projects). These tools help young people express themselves, care for their communities and the planet, and explore new economic opportunities.

Young people then put these ideas into action through local projects, podcasts, videos, social entrepreneurship challenges, and community events called “Brain Gain Summits,” where youth meet decision-makers, educators, and business leaders. International bootcamps, webinars, and online platforms help share stories and inspire others across Europe and beyond.

DoUth is about building hope, confidence, and connection. By empowering youth organizations and young people to work together creatively, the project supports a new generation of changemakers who believe in dialogue, inclusion, and peaceful transformation. It shows that when young people are trusted, trained, and connected, they can become powerful drivers of positive change.
